  1. tayo (card): three (3)
  2. tayo (card): three (3) (object)
  3. ti (card): three (3)
  4. ti (ve): (gram) ti; verbal ending of the present tense 3rd person singular

Etymology. From Indo-European *trei̯- 'three'. Sanskrit trái, Greek treîs, Latin trēs, English three, German drei. The Pali ti and its oblique stem ta- (< *tray-) preserve the old stem-variation of the cardinal. The nominative plural tayo reflects Pali's loss of final -s (< *trayaḥ), with the -o ending showing influence from the -o/-ā pronominal system.
